Susan Liebold http://www.susanliebold.com/ susan@susanliebold.com "Ms.
Liebold's work reflects a deep connection and empathy with her subjects that enables
the viewer to cross the space between subject and viewer and into the subject's
world. Without artifice or manipulation, she presents the profound dignity and
spirit of very poor people. Their human yearnings and strivings evoke within the
viewer a self-recognition and, in turn, a profound respect and caring for the
subjects." Traer Sunley, Vice President for Communications, Pact, Inc.
Susan has lived and traveled around the world, as a Peace Corps volunteer, NGO
staff, and on photography assignments. She has a Certificate in Photography from
the International Center of Photography in New York. Non-profit organizations
in the United States, Africa and Asia publish Susan's images to promote their
work. The USAID mission in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia has her images on permanent display.
