Photographic Archive, the world's oldest picture library is announcing
the grand opening of the Business to Business and Business to Education
web sites! The sites will be online by September 2000. The Business
to Consumer will be online in the near future as well! Shortly it will
be therefore possible to search through a very large, detailed and accurate
database, top quality images, with the opportunity to buy the pictures
after the copyright agreement is cleared between the client and Alinari.
We are the world's oldest photographic archive and image library with
over 3.5 million vintage pictures from the 19th and 20th Century from
around the world. The Photographic Picture Organization includes a bookstore,
an editorial and publishing office, a multimedia laboratory, a showroom,
an exhibition space, a fine art printing department. We have been in
business since 1852 from our headquater based in Florence, Italy.
