"Turning Silver"
25th Anniversary Photographic Collection Call For Entry

Women In Photography International (www.womeninphotogrpahy.org) Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary with a Juried Black & White Print Collection Call for Entries.

Founded in 1981, by a group of professional photographers living in Los Angeles, Women In Photography International (WIPI) has progressed over the years to become one of the most recognized organizations for women photographers worldwide. WIPI celebrates turning twenty-five in 2006 by announcing "Turning Silver” - a call for entries to create a very special collection of one hundred twenty-five black and white photographic prints.

"Turning Silver" entries will be juried by an accomplished panel of professionals that will include: art directors, curators, editors, gallery owners, photo educators, photographers and publishers. The 100 juried images and artist statements will be showcased along with 25 invitational images from WIPI's Distinguished Photographers, Founders, Presidents and Directors at www.womeninphotography.org. The 125 prints will become a permanent part of the Women In Photography International archive, Turning Silver .... into gold!
