CHARTER applicants can sign up anytime and receive a FREE PhotoProfile and Just-A-Link listing.

Just-A-Link: no member privileges. Just a website or e-mail link for recognition. A good link for galleries. For members it's an additional link, additional exposure, some members have company names, so this area works very well for that purpose also. Anyone can sign up for Just-A-Link at any time (Just-A-Link does not entitle anyone to Member services or discounts)

NEW Sign-ups: Due to the popularity of our website, we are reorganizing our membership sign-up into once yearly, FALL SIGN UP for PROfessional, General & Student Membership. Nov. 1, thru Nov 30, 2008 - Renewal will be Nov. 1, 2009
Dec/ 1st - 2008 DUE Dec. 1st

We do not prorate fees.
We will only accept memberships according to the guidelines.

We are sorry for any confusion.  We are constantly trying to find ways that will not only support the membership but to help make things work more smoothly behind the scenes. Our workload is "large" and we provide high visibility for our photographers. We have tremendous traffic to our website WIPI is the #1 resource for women photographers worldwide.

You may notice that we sometimes have a revolving door for membership sign up..Since we can make changes and updates, this provides us the opportunity to keep an open door policy and pull back when the work load exceeds our capabilities. and fling it open when we feel we can handle the member sign-ups. We know it's a drag when you visit our site and the door is closed and at the same time, we know how fabulous it's been when the door is open and we can increase the outreach to the community.

We are working at finding a software program that will require the correct image size and text count for submissions. If you know of any software that is FREE and available for UNIX / with MAC operating systems, please let us know Members@womeninphotography.org

We are here to exchange, wisdom, contacts and opportunities. We hope that our members see the same picture for the future of women working in the photographic arts and do their part to participate and bring positive reinforcement to WIPI.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a non-profit group with limited staff. WIPI brings a large package of content and contacts to our women photographer's. We will not constantly remind members about their membership dues. We expect members to take responsibility and make note of their sign-up. People change e-mail addresses, go on vacation, block mail boxes, etc., we are not in the position to make allowances for any disruption of the membership. If that's the choice, there will be the risk of a lost membership.

We have temporarily shut down the Info@womeninphotography.org box due to junk mail. If you are a member you can always reach us. Please review your Payment Response Receipt for contact information or past WIPI e-mail's. MAKE sure you do not have WIPI blocked in your SPAM program..l Any questions, you can call WIPI at (323) 462-1444.

We also create mail boxes for special programs, so always check your member mail for any updates.
