Bonnie Flamer grew up in Los Angeles and acquired an interest in photography at an early age. Bonnie studied photography in high school and at California State University, Northridge, and was active in groups such as Cameravision and WIPI, where she was a "Founding Member." After college she worked with Hasselblad, 4x5 field cameras and 35mm formats and produced a Pueblo series of hand-painted images. Currently, she is working on a black and white industrial series and has been published in the "Showcase"area of Camera Arts magazine, as “Best in Show” from the Center for Fine Art Photography.
