Elizabeth pursued a BFA at The College of Santa Fe and spent three years in Japan and South America as an English teacher. Elizabeth’s love of travel has never dissipated and it has taken her (mostly solo) to Cuba, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Ethiopia, Bhutan, Laos, Peru, and Bolivia. Elizabeth is fascinated with the geometry of natural objects, and that her interest in and respect for the subjects of her portraits help put them at ease. 2nd place winner WIPI 30th Anniversary Juried Competition, 2011
