page will be updated again shortly. Last letter - November 25, 2005 WIPI has had an incredible year. A non stop process of promoting WIPI photographers and programs. We started the year with the online juried exhibition of virtual * visual, which included jurors:..... followed by our tribute to Cartier Bresson and ..... juried Decisive Moments online exhibition. A whirlwind weekend in San Diego to present the WIPI workshop The Business of Working in Photography at the Photo Imaging & Design Expo. with a shared panel of Karen Hansen, FreshLists.com, Francoise Kirkland, agent for Douglas Kirkland and Scott McKernan, Founder of ZUMAPress.com. Next we jumped even higher and gathered one of the most prestigious jury panels for "Beauty, Camera Eye of the Beholder" ...keeping in mind a classic Donald Trump saying, Go For the Top and we did, even to Trump's Ad Agency in NYC for an art director juror of Deutch Inc., NYC, along with other top professionals in the field. WE announced
Carrie
Mae Weems as our Distinguished Photographer of the year in October
and we celebrated Ruth
Bernhard's 100 Birthday with a member tribute. Still no stopping
us..in November, We launched a collaborative effort with Kodak
and their Easy Share Camera. 7 WIPI photographers from San Francisco,
New York City and London were catapulted into the limelight with a Kodak
extravaganza gallery presentation of their work about the city they
live in, in a well attended and exciting evening. See photos and event
