Daro Sulakauri


Daro Sulakauri is a  freelance photographer, born in 1985 in Republic of Georgia. She has been Photographing since age 16. 

Her photographs reflect the economic and social issues in Georgia as well as political. After graduating from ICP, School of international center of photography in NY, Daro started a project on Chechen refugees in Georgia. 

Her project documents the plight of Chechen refugees on the territory of Georgia.

Her work  has won several awards, and has been published and exhibited widely in the U.S. and internationally.She is based in Georgia, working as a freelancer.
