MAY 1st MIDNGIHT (PDT/Los Angeles) Entries can be any type of black & white image, created in your personal darkroom, professional lab or using a digital printer. Glossy or matte paper, including color hand painted and toned images, Polaroid, black & white C-41, silver gelatin prints, platinum prints and alternative prints are all welcome. We encourage submission of "archival" types of materials. You may submit numbered limited editions, artists proofs, and series of images, color transferred to b/w, digital manipulation, with varying styles and techniques including color text, or color added to b/w via creative program (i.e., PhotoShop). Work that incorporates traditional and non traditional printing processes, shot with any type of camera, digital, professional, single use, Polaroid, toy cameras, holgas, etc. The photographic entries will be juried by a panel of professionals including gallery owners, photo editors and curators. . ALL submission will be held in the archive. The
selection of one hundred (100) images will also be showcased on www.WomenInPhotography.org
and will remain as part of our 25th Anniversary online archive as well
as included in the Women In Photography International Archive.
You may submit work ONLINE, or by MAIL. All submissions must be registered with an online form, see links below. Once registered you will be asked to either continue your online submission or receive the information to mail your prints, CD's or Transparencies. (MAIL submissions must be recieved by May 1st) Deadline:

Jacket must have name and phone number, Actual CD must have name and number
of images contained. PRINT Submission Proceed to Registration Form * NO PRINTS larger than 16 x 20 inches or 16 inch square * NO MATS, just prints * ALL PRINTS must be signed by the artist and dated with image title on the back of the print lower right corner. NO BALL POINT pens (Please PRINT your name and signature your name on the back of the prints). For any Resin/plastic coated "non fiber" prints, use a fine point Sharpie on the front edge, on the photograph and/or on the back in a dark area of the photo. Signatures can be both on the front and/or back of the prints. (You may include a CD of the prints submitted. See CD Submission guidelines above.) of winning image, At that time WIPI will request a (one) 1 page
artist statement and list of selected exhibitions. Once you
complete your Registration form online, you will automatically receive
a confirmation that your entry has been registered. |
