Bauknight is an award winning photojournalist based in Los Angeles, whose clients have included Time Magazine, World Vision, The New York Times, Rolling Stone. She captures the moment and the identity of cultures to increase awareness of similarities of people and weave communication to lessen the fears of their differences. Catherine's multi-media documentary Hawaii - A Voice for Sovereignty screened at the Documentary Happening Film Festival, Duke University Center for Documentary Studies and Maui Film Festival in June 2007. She is currently working on a cultural documentary book, Twenty of the Top LA Artists. She is a contract photographer for Zuma Press. Awarded 1st place recognition for "Bus Stop Viola" in the 2006 WIPI 25th Anniversary "Turning Silver" online exhibit and Kodak sponsored limited edition book, WIPI Archive Gallery 15, 2003 Beauty,Camera Eye / Photojournalism/ Honorable Mention
