Photography now is an agency for Photography and Video Art, founded in Stuttgart in 1998 and based in Berlin since 2000.

The agency publishes an international online directory as well as a german print journal / exhibition guide for Germany, Austria , Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Lately it offers an international e-announcement service (for institutions working with photography and video art.)

The agency also curates exhibitions and is responsible for all aspects of photographic art consulting and exhibition management.

photo l.a. returns to the historic Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for its 21st edition on January 12 - 16, 2012. Continuing the discourse on photography’s place in the fine arts, photo l.a. provides dealers from around the globe a platform for the exhibition of vintage masterworks, contemporary photography, as well as video and multimedia installations. This exciting juxtaposition creates the character that is photo l.a.
We are proud to once again host the Wallis Annenberg Department of Photography at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as the beneficiary for the opening night preview reception on January 12, 2012.

A reminiscence from Martine Franck, photographer & wife of Henri Cartier-Bresson: "Henri was always immensely supportive as a photographer. He taught me how to say "No" gracefully and to follow through all projects right to the end. In his opinion no details were insignificant and he would always say," Don't show your work until you feel ready and you have done your own editing." He was adamant about being at the printers when a book was being printed. How right he was."
