MISSING 10th PHOTO 10 - Peace

Dianne Poinski
Scenes that suggest mystery, serenity, and simplicity, have always inspired me.
With my camera focused to capture the image, I allow myself to slow down and reflect on the quiet beauty before me. In this busy world of speed and technology, it is my hope that I can give back to the viewer a little bit of the calm and inspiration I experienced while creating the image.

This current series, "Looking Up", is the result of noticing while on daily walks through my neighborhood, the simple beauty of bare branches, spring blossoms and seasonal leaves as they gracefully curve, stretch and bend in response to the elements.

BIO

While attending college to pursue an accounting degree, Dianne took a black and white photography course to help satisfy the art requirement. Passion for photography developed almost immediately and her goal of becoming a CPA quickly disappeared.

Dianne’s images are available worldwide as prints and greeting cards published by Portal Publishing, Marion Heath and Bentley Publishing Group. Corporate collectors include St Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco, Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento and ResMed Corporation in South Carolina.
Dianne works out of her studio located in the ARTHOUSE Building at 1021 R Street in downtown Sacramento.
